Biography

Nick Temprile is a first-year MA in the department of East Asian studies at the University of Toronto.  He has a background in philosophy, political science, and East Asian studies. His academic interests focus on political theory, Japanese philosophy, and Marxism in Japan. He is currently interested in Marxist analyses of fascism, especially in the work of Tosaka Jun. Beyond academia, his interests include hiking and drinking good tea.
