Biography
Doyun Kim is a second-year MA student in 20th century Korean history. He received his BA in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto. Currently he is focusing on unpacking labour and class struggles in relation to the Gwangju Uprising for his research project. Outside of academia, Doyun can be found practicing Taekwondo and beatboxing, in addition to exploring diverse food options in Toronto.
