Biography

Jisuk Park joined the department in 2021. Her research interests include language pedagogy, project-based learning, and curriculum design. Her recent studies focus on exploring ways to apply the Social Networking Approach to foreign language education. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, Park taught Japanese language courses for all levels at Columbia University for 17 years. For 10 years during the summer, she also taught at Princeton University’s Ishikawa Summer Intensive Program as well as the Hokkaido International Foundation. She is also an executive board member of the Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education.
