Yasuyo Tomita teaches Japanese language courses. Her academic research focuses on the research of teaching and learning of second languages. She is particularly interested in form-focused instruction, classroom research, and learner investment. She is currently working on a meta-analysis to investigate the effects of different types of instruction on second language learning.
