Jotaro Arimori holds an MA in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto. His research interests include Japanese linguistics, pedagogy, and conversation analysis. He serves on the board of the Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education. He is also a member of the organizing committee for the Annual Ontario Japanese Speech Contest.
