
We are excited to share some wonderful news from the annual Ontario Japanese Speech Contest held this past Saturday. Ten students participated across four different categories, and out of 31 contestants in total, our students impressively received seven of the thirteen prizes and awards!
Below are the students who received distinctions:

- Michael Kim (former student, EAS221H1S) – 3rd Place, Intermediate Category

We are also thrilled that the three first-place winners have been invited to present their speeches at the National Japanese Speech Contest, which will take place at the University of Alberta on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
