CRCC Asia—Consider doing an internship in China!
This program is designed for students who are interested in gaining international work experience. It has a wide range of work placements located in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Various industries includes finance, law, marketing/PR, engineering, accounting, NGO’s and many others. Their Annual Scholarship Program also provides more than $10,000 for students who wish to take part in their program.
Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (The Jet Program)
Are you interested in teaching English in Japan? The Jet Program provides university graduates an opportunity to work as either a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) in local authorities or as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in educational institutions such as primary schools or junior high schools in Japan.

Internship Opportunities At Canadian Trade Office in Taipei-General
This is a summer internship opportunity at the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei. Students who are interested in becoming an intern in the General Relations Sections are strongly encouraged to visit the Canadian government’s website for any updated information about job postings. This 2013 internship posting will give you a brief look on what the placement is like.
Intern, Consulate of Canada, New York City
This is a paid internship available only to students who are enrolled in a graduate program at the University of Toronto at the time of application.
Internship Opportunity at Canadian Mission in China
The Embassy of Canada to China in Beijing, the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai, and the Consulate of Canada in Chongqing have internship opportunities (currently on hold).
Only Canadian citizens may apply.
UNPPP Internship Programme
The UN Professional Placement Programme (UNPPP) provides an opportunity for highly qualified Canadians to participate in the United Nations system as Junior Professional Consultants (JPCs). The application for the Winter 2019 application is now closed. Students who are interested in applying for the position are strongly advised to check out their website regularly next year in September.
1) “Jobs for Grads” program at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus.
2) The MEXT Scholarship Program is offered by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to Canadian students wishing to pursue their studies at a Japanese university.
3) Paid internships with Bell Canada in a variety of fields.
4) Internship with United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP): in various fields (economics, social sciences etc.). Many of them are in Thailand.
6) Internships available through the Canadian government’s International Youth Internship Program.
