 y Austronesian communities. It is home to 16 Indigenous groups and 15 offi
 cially recognized Indigenous languages. This one-day workshop brings toget
 her researchers and Indigenous artists from Taiwan to introduce Atayal wea
 ving techniques and Paiwan music and instrument making. Participants will 
 learn how weaving, music, and dance shape Indigenous life on the island\
 , and how these practices continue to carry meaning for Taiwan’s Indigenou
