 Speaking Out: Issues and Controversies 各抒己见 with co-authors Professor Hsia
 o-wei Rupprecht (U of T), Jianhua Shen (Yale University), Dr. Gang Pan (
 York University), Dr. Yanfei Li (U of T) and Yu Wen (U of T). This advanc
 ed Chinese language textbook presents ten lessons which reflect major conc
 erns in contemporary China and invites students to reflect upon the forces
  shaping modern Chinese society. The authors will discuss the book’s origi
 ns and their writing process.The book launch will take place via Zoom on M
 arch 1 from 3:30pm-4:30pm EST. Registration is required. Zoom details will
  be sent to all registrants.Please note that this event will be moderated 
 in Chinese. There will be limited English translation available.We will al
 so be giving away copies of the textbook to three lucky winners! The givea
 way is only open to current U of T students. More details are available at
  the registration link.This event is free and open to the public. If you r
