Course Enrolment Information for EAS Students
EAS Students may register in courses via ROSI as soon as the courses become available. However, they still need to have their course selections approved by the Graduate Coordinator. A copy of the approved form must be submitted to the EAS administrator’s office.
The graduate coordinator will host an orientation meeting for ALL graduate students (new and returning, MA and PhD) on the Tuesday following Labour Day, 10:00 am in the EAS lounge, Robarts Library (130 St. George Street, Room 14100).
Please make sure you attend this meeting to hear all the latest information regarding graduate studies at EAS. At that time, you will receive a course approval form and will sign up for an individual meeting with the graduate coordinator to discuss your program and course selections. Please bring a copy of the course approval form with you.
Course Enrolment Information for Non-EAS Students
Students who are not graduate students in the University of Toronto Department of East Asian Studies must secure the instructor’s approval before taking an EAS course. Print a copy of the SGS Add/Drop Course(s) Form (http://www.sgs.utoronto.ca/informationfor/students/inform/stuforms.htm), have it signed by the instructor and submit it to the EAS Department.
Students from other Ontario Universities must request enrollment through the Ontario Visiting Graduate Students Exchange Program. Contact the graduate office of your home university.
