The Chizuru Suzuki Memorial Scholarship in Japanese Literature and Japanese Studies was established by family of the late Ms. Chizuru Suzuki, and friends and associates.
It is awarded to a graduate or undergraduate student in the Department of East Asian Studies, on the basis of academic performance in Japanese studies courses (‘A’ average), and participation in extra-curricular activities promoting Japan-Canada cultural ties. Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in a Major or Specialist Program in Japanese Studies, in combination with a Major or Minor Program in a comparative area (e.g., another literature).
To apply, please submit your application in an envelope with your name and the fellowship to which you are applying to the Department by April 1, 2014. Your application must include:

- A printout of your ROSI academic history
